Caleb's First Pet

Caleb recently got his first live pet - a goldfish named Dorothy.  He named her Dorothy, after Elmo's fish.  For a while we thought she was going to be Pluto (after Mickey's dog?) but we're glad Caleb landed on Dorothy!  He takes good care of her. Every morning before his radiation treatment, he comes downstairs, gets her fish food, and feeds her a pinch.

Caleb proudly holds up Dorothy before we left Wal Mart. We bought Dorothy at Wal Mart after a large pet chain (we won't mention who)  refused to sell him a goldfish because we told them we were going to put it in a bowl !?  The nice folks at Wal Mart fixed him right up.
